Martial arts

Management software for
martial arts schools

Grading schemes, class scheduling, memberships, attendance registers, and bulk announcements — one platform for BJJ, karate, boxing, MMA, and kickboxing gyms.

What martial arts schools deal with

+

Grading records are still on paper

Award schemes track belt levels and grading milestones digitally. Students see their progress; instructors mark completions from the platform.

+

Members and drop-ins on two different systems

One platform handles recurring memberships and pay-as-you-go. Each student uses whatever they've signed up for.

+

Class registers are a spreadsheet

Digital registers per class. Instructors mark attendance in seconds. You see attendance patterns in reports without lifting a pen.

Common questions

Can I track belt gradings and promotions?+

Yes. You configure award schemes to match your grading structure — belts, stripes, Kyu levels, Dans, or any framework. Instructors mark promotions from the platform after grading events. Students see their current level and what's required for the next grade. PDF certificates generate automatically on promotion (Pro plan).

How do I manage members and drop-in students together?+

Unstack handles both. Recurring membership students are billed monthly via Stripe. Drop-in students buy class packs or individual sessions. You can run both simultaneously — each student sees the options they've purchased.

Can students book classes online?+

Yes. Every school gets a public booking page at your-school.unstack.co.uk (custom domain on Pro). Students log in, see the class timetable, and book available slots. You control who can book (members only, or open to all).

How does attendance tracking work?+

Instructors take digital registers for each class from their portal or mobile browser. Attendance is logged against every session. You can see who attends regularly, spot drop-off patterns, and identify students who might be churning.

Is there a contract or minimum term?+

No. Unstack is month-to-month on all plans. The Solo plan is free (1% per transaction). Studio is £29/month + 0.5%. Pro is £79/month + 0.2%. You can upgrade or cancel any time. The first £100 of platform fees is waived for every new school.
